Cristina Lía Fernández Regueiro

I’m a chemist with a Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry. I first came to Switzerland to join the biotech start-up inSEIT as a Project Manager, where I work on developing enzyme immobilization strategies for sustainable biocatalysis. I am now also a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bern.  

Beyond research, I’m passionate about feminism, community building, and making science more inclusive and supportive. I enjoy connecting people across disciplines and believe strongly in the role of solidarity and diversity in shaping better science and society.  Why I joined 500WS: To be part of a community that makes women in science more visible and creates a supportive network where we can lift each other up.
