Dr. DeDe Man

As a life science professional in pharmaceutical science, I have a huge passion in medical innovations and development for the benefits of global healthcare. At the ARTORG Center (Bern), I focus on developing a human organ-on-chip (OOC) disease model for pulmonary arterial hypertension. This follows my PhD on tuberculosis therapy development and MPhil on cancer targeting nanomedicine.
As a female scientist, I highly value the dedication of our fellows and their contributions towards the advancement across different scientific fields. Through 500WS, I am eager to empower women in science by strengthening communication and connection across the wide spectrum of professions, promoting peer support as well as celebrating together our achievements and success.
