I am a PRIMA group leader heading the Lab of Social Fluids at the University of Fribourg.  My research is focused on collective behaviour, socially exchanged fluids and the evolution of communication. I am the founder of The Catalyst, a Swiss non-profit that teaches scientists to be better communicators through theater.

I strive to improve our culture of science with greater inclusivity and responsible leadership. This passion has lead me to join 500WS, to be vocal on twitter (@adriaexists) and to give numerous workshops and performances on gender and science for multiple organizations.
