I am a chemist who aspires to deal with environmental issues and help benefit environmental and human health. I completed my MSc. in Applied & Environmental Geoscience at the University of Tuebingen. Currently, I am working on my Ph.D. program in the One Health Project at the University of Bern. My research interests focus on arsenic bioavailability and toxicity in the soil-plant system as well as how the interaction of arsenic and microbiota influences soil and plant health.

I believe that science needs to be conveyed more to the public and especially, more women scientists should be involved and contribute more their knowledge and power to science. That is why I am fascinated to join this organization to contribute myself to science communication and help build a stronger system of women scientists.
